Voter Registration Information
Northville Township’s voter registration services are networked
with the State of Michigan’s Qualified Voter File (QVF) and we are
responsible for the registration of residents in the Township, the
Northville School District and some of the Plymouth School District
voters residing within Northville Township. If residents wish to
register to vote,

Attention Voters!
Every Michigan voter who shows up to vote at the polls MUST show
picture identification, or sign an affidavit attesting that he or she
is not in possession of picture identification. EVERY voter will be
asked for PICTURE identification, regardless of whether or not you are
personally known by the precinct inspectors.
A ballot CANNOT be issued to a voter unless the voter provides
picture identification or signs the affidavit. Elections for 2008
include: January 15th, February 26th (not confirmed), May 6th, August
5th and November 4th.
Acceptable photo identification includes:
- Driver’s license or personal identification card issued by
another state.
- Federal or state government-issued photo identification.
- U.S. passport.
- Military identification card with photo.
- Student identification with photo from high school or an
accredited institution of higher education.
- Tribal identification card with photo.
