MITC Ribbon CuttingSupervisor Robert Nix represented Northville Township today at the ribbon cutting at Ridge 5 Corporate Park, a 60-acre development in Plymouth Township that’s part of the Michigan International Technology Center (MITC). MITC is a development corridor that has attracted some of the world’s leading high-tech research and development firms. It straddles both Northville Township and Plymouth Township and is strategically located to offer access to the region’s world-class universities and its already-established innovator community. This collaborative effort by Northville Township, Plymouth Township, and Wayne County will establish a regional development creating over 6,000 jobs and a commercial tax base for both Townships. Supervisor Nix is joined by Wayne County Executive Warren Evans, Plymouth Township Supervisor Kurt Heise.
