Investigations – The Northville Township Police Department’s Detective Bureau investigates crimes that occur within the Township.  Detectives are tasked with following up with the initial report of a crime taken by the patrol officers.  A few of the responsibilities of a detective include drafting search warrants, interviewing victims, witnesses, and suspects, gathering evidence, following up on any investigative leads that may arise within an investigation, and submitting arrest warrants to the local prosecutor within the 35th District Court or through the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.
