TITLE: Ski and Snowboard Club Coordinator

 

STATUS: This part-time seasonal position will assist with the administration and supervision of the Northville Ski & Snowboard Club. The position will average 10-15 hours per week in January and February and may include some planning hours in December. Included in the average hours per week is mandatory attendance at all Ski & Snowboard Club trips (Fridays, January 10 – February 14, 2024, 4:00-10:30 pm). Hours outside of the trips are flexible.

 

SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Recreation Specialist, this employee will plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the specific activities and tasks relating to the Northville Ski & Snowboard Club. This includes, coordinating purchases for tickets, communicating with bussing company, emailing parents, etc.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma.

EXPERIENCE: Preferred experience supervising adult volunteers. Must have experience working with youth.

SKILLS: Knowledge of skiing/snowboarding preferred. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work independently and in a team. Knowledge and skill in standard office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Ability to learn other specialized software.

 

COMPENSATION: Starting range: $17-$21/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
