More than 3,000 citizens contributed to crafting the 7 Mile Road Park Master Plan with the help of Stantec. The plan, adopted by the Northville Township Board of Trustees on January 26, 2012, is a roadmap for a 30-50 year process of phased development. The plan does not prescribe an exact process that must be followed; instead it provides placeholders for facilities when the desire and resources become available. Setting aside the land and developing the master plan are the first steps in securing the Township’s open space and recreational future.
