Requirements

The Northville Township Fire Department utilizes the Knox Home Box Residential Rapid Entry System to provide quick and efficient access to residential homes, condominiums and apartments in the Township. The Home Box allows the fire department to gain emergency access to your home without damaging your property. The Knox Home Box is great for anyone that lives alone, those with a history of medical issues, residents returning home from rehabilitation or the hospital and those that utilize a medical alert system.

When the department arrives at your home during an emergency, our firefighter/paramedics will utilize our master key to gain access to your key box, retrieve your keys, and provide the necessary emergency services. When the emergency is over our firefighters can lock up your home and lock the keys back in your Knox Home Box.
